The video below tells the story of a Cape Town free diver, Faine Loubser, who submerses herself into False Bay’s 15°C water without a wetsuit. For her, this awakens the wildness inside of her which connects her to the ocean environment. The key, for her, is that her skin is in direct contact with the water. Faine says, “To me, it’s about the feeling of wildness and to me that wildness is a form of freedom.”
